FAQs
ARE SPRAY TANS SAFE?
1
Yes spray tans are considered safe for most people. The active ingredient in spray tans is DHA (dihydroxyacetone), which has been approved by the FDA for external application to the skin.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
2
You can choose to tan however you feel comfortable, whether that is in your underwear, swimsuit, partially or fully nude. If you do choose to wear something, be mindful of your tan lines.
WHAT COLOR DO I GET?
3
I will offer shade recommendations for your skin tone & skin type - however if it is your first time getting a spray tan, we advise staying on lighter, more natural side.
WILL I GO ORANGE?
4
No! Our solution utilizes color correcting bronzers to help balance and compliment your own natural skin tone.
WHEN DO I TAN?
5
Since the tan takes 8-16 hours to fully develop, we recommend tanning 2 days before an event, one day before a vacation, and 2-3 days before a wedding to allow for proper development and rinse time.
WHAT IF IāM PREGNANT?
6
Although spray tanning is deemed safe to do when pregnant as the solution is not absorbed into the blood stream - we do recommend consulting with your doctor first to make sure that a spray tan is a good fit for you.
